E liquids: What are they made of?
PG versus VG
PG offers a slightly clearer taste, while VG is a bit sweet by itself and makes flavors less prominent.
VG produces rich, velvety clouds. PG offers much less vapor.
Throat hit comes mainly from nicotine but PG enhances it perceptibly while VG has too little to add to it.
Throat Dehydration & harshness:
PG's throat hit effect comes with a price: it feels harsher on the throat. VG is much more mellow and smooth.
VG is thick and viscous (which makes some atomizers struggle and not wick properly). PG is more thin and fluid.
I strongly believe that it would be immensely helpful to all vapers -especially the new ones- if vape shops took interest and offered a small trinket or flyer containing this information to their customers. It is the first of many similar ideas that I'm currently designing and I think it's a much needed addition to Vapeorama's products.
I would be happy if you sent me your feedback and your own ideas about informational designs that would answer important vaping questions. Until then, vape on!
