How do you feel about box mods? Ever since I started vaping I considered myself a "tube" person. This may be the standard for all ex-smokers: we tend to prefer small, round ecigs that don't remind us of "appliances". But things change. I became more and more open to new forms and devices. I stopped clinging to the shapes I was accustomed to and started appreciating the beauty of box mods. Particularly when they offer the superb strength and functionality of a DNA20 chip, as some current box mods do!
Anyway, I was playing around with a friend's photo of his own box mod trying to figure out how to make an interesting design out of it. Then I realized that the mod itself had a distinctly cartoonish character, one that just waited for me to discover and lay down. And this character, with the eye-like buttons and the display shaped like an open mouth, was really surprised!
I'm really proud of the outcome. It's both stylish and funny, with the retro typography, the simple color palette and the stylized box mod along with it's rebuildable atomizer that looks like a weird hat. It's good as a standalone character on a t-shirt and works great as a full composition on rectangle things, like a poster or a greeting card.
This little red surprised rascal lives in it's specially designated habitat on Vapeorama and thrives on a wide variety of stylish products. Check them out and I'm sure you'll love box mods too!
